The body of the S520 in weathered black comes equipped with a pair of Ibanez's own Infinity humbucker pickups, and alnico model at the neck and a ceramic one at the bridge, that are more than capable of reproducing the incredible tone and dynamics that made the original S-models famous. Accompanying the pickups is a double-locking Edge Zero II tremolo that allows for extreme variances in pitch to be achieved without the guitar going out of tune.
